No matter the word count or how many pages you have, I will be honored to beta read your book. As a beta reader, I will act as your target audience providing emotional reactions, opinions, suggestions, and more!

My preference of reading

If you have any genres that is not listed, don’t be afraid to see if your story peaked my interest! However I do not read non-fiction.

What do I look at in your manuscript?

When I read your manuscript, you will receive:

• Criticism on characters, plot, world-building, dialogue, and more!
• Report of any emotional reactions (likes, dislikes, what made me laugh or cry, etc.)
• Identify any small issues (typos, misspellings, etc.) *Please note I am not an editor, only a second pair of eyes*
• Suggestions and Feedback on all areas of your manuscript.
• A list of book tropes your book has 🙂

How do I submit my manuscript? What is the process?

Here is the process:

1. Complete this Beta Reader Form. It will let me know basic information about your manuscript. This will determine if I’ll approve or deny your manuscript. Due to high demand, I grant readers the option to book months in advance for their manuscript.
2. Once I receive the google form, I will either send you an email accepting or denying your manuscript. A denial does not mean your manuscript is bad. It could mean your manuscript did not catch my interest/preference of reading, or I have too many projects at the moment. If you were accepted but your earliest chosen month is filled, you have the option to be put on the waiting list when someone drops beta reading, finishing a manuscript quicker than expected, etc. However, I do recommend choosing a secondary month. As service is not guaranteed for your chosen month.
3. We will discuss any questions you may have before I start reading. Your work is completely safe, and confidential. However, if you want me to sign an NDA form, I am more than happy to sign.
4. When I finish reading, I will email you a full report. Your manuscript will be deleted off my computer once you have everything from me.
5. Along with my report, I will provide ways for you to donate. Donations are not mandatory, and it is completely up to you 🙂

Need a cheerleader for your book? Look no further. As an ARC reviewer, I will hype your book up so good, people will HAVE to read it. I might buy a physical copy as a trophy, as well 😉

What is my rating system?

Many book review apps don’t allow half stars, so I sometimes round it either up or down depending on your book performance. Here is how I rate your manuscript:

5 stars= The highest book rating. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE your book! I can’t stop thinking about it and will highly recommend it to others!

4 stars= I love your book! It kept me hooked throughout the story. Will recommend to others.

3 stars= The book was okay. It kept me engaged enough to finish, but some reading made me drag. 50/50 on whether I would recommend it to others.

2 stars= The story needs a lot of reworking. It was not engaging, and it made me want to DNF it.

1 star= Lowest rating. Would not recommend to others. I either DNF or finished the book, and it was very bad.

My review will be honest and detailed on why I rated it (5-1 stars). If you can not handle criticism, I am not the ARC Reviewer for you.

It could mean your deadline is too soon for me, the manuscript did not catch my interest/preference of reading, or I have too many projects at the moment. However, you can be put on the waiting list if someone drops from an ARC Review, an opening appears, etc.
3. We will discuss deadlines, any questions you may have, etc. before I start reading. Your work is completely safe, and confidential.
4. When I finish reading, I will write my review on the selected social media apps you filed in the form. In an email, I will send you links to my reviews. Keep in mind, Amazon takes a few days before being live.
5. Along with my email, I will provide ways for you to donate. Donations are not mandatory, and it is completely up to you 🙂
